Hello and thank you for the instant service.I must add that this little boomer amp is not very pretty but the sound is tremendous.I would and have recomended this product to my friends. I am using it in my 22 by 14 foot home theater that I have been building bit by bit.Deelicious
Each mode (CD, DVD, tuner, etc) has to be in a setting that will play the sub. One word of caution: if you have one of the newer receivers, make sure all modes are set to 5 channel stereo, or some setting that recognizes the sub.
This sub works great. I'll add my very positive review to all the others.
The set-up took awhile, but only because the receiver settings were not easy; the sub itself is absolutely no problem. I have it hooked to a Denon AVR 1609 with 2 Paradigm speakers.
It is exactly what I wanted: some extra "oomph" on the low end without being overly noticable. After balancing everything with the Denon microphone, it still wasn't right; that's because I had the settings on "2 channel stereo" and it didn't recognize the sub.
I plan on getting some brass isolation cones from Dayton to isolate it.
Bought this for our theater room- Onkyo 605 amp, polk in-wall speakers, 92" Epson projection. We have a smaller room (13' x 13'), but this has great rich sound, easily adjustable. Auto-on is nice feature, especially as you can manually turn it off or on. Would recommend for any setup.
I a Sony woofer W3000 with pair of Sony F6000 speakers connected to Sherwood Rx-4109 Amplifier/receiver 105WX2 in my great room open to a breakfast area and kitchen. At about 40% volume it is too loud and this a a very large area. The sounds are great and this product is really worth the price.
got the JBL Venue 12 500 watt model for a lesser price on a promotion also from Amazon. This one was a major letdown. Did not fill even an apartment living room.
